Crock Pot Southwest Chicken and Rice

Serving size: 1 chicken breast, 1/2 cup rice Recipe makes: 4-6 servings

Ingredients

1 (40 ounce) jar green chile sauce (such as 505 Organic Green Chile Sauce)

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 cup of rice (recommended: brown rice)

Directions

1.) Place chicken breasts in the crock pot. Pour jar of 505 Organic Chile Sauce over chicken breasts. Cook on low all day.

2.) One hour before you are ready to serve,add rice. (Note: you may need to add a little water or chicken broth at the end if the rice takes up all of the moisture).

3.) This recipe can also be pureed adding equal amounts of liquid (chicken broth) to rice and chicken. Enjoy!
