Experience

Surgeons that have the LAP-BAND^® System experience designation are considered to have ongoing current experience with the LAP-BAND^® System and have performed at least 75 procedures in the last 12 months. This is important because it has been shown that there is a correlation between the volume of procedures performed by a surgeon and the quality of clinical outcomes¹.
