Find a Fitness Center That Fits You
If you're a beginner or just getting back to exercise and have decided that a gym is right for you, look for:
- Recumbent bikes. They support your body without stressing your joints. Treadmills and elliptical machines are also smart beginner equipment.
- Pool. Pool workouts gently condition the body, using water as resistance.
- Light free weights. Start with lighter weights and more repetitions.
- Free trainer sessions. Even one session with a trainer is a great introduction.
